Still of the Night Oracle Deck
The Still of the Night Oracle Deck was inspired by late nights and clear skies. It’s that feeling on summer nights when there’s grass between your toes, cicadas screaming, and the breeze feels like autumn is just over the horizon, when music is half-heard from another room, when the glow of light beneath a door frame says someone else is still awake, busy, alone.
This deck was illustrated by Melanie Christopher, who has drawn under the name Still Dead Illustrations since 2017. She created 52 original illustrations as well as various ephemera for the cards and the guidebook. The words were written by her husband, Matthew Engelhardt who is a frequent collaborator with her. All interpretations of the cards were a collaborative effort between the two of them.
